I spent a great afternoon talking to the students at London School of Film media and Design (University of West London) about working with digital vfx in editing. I Got to show them a bit of Jed Mercurio’s Critical (Sky 1) and the opening sequence of Beowulf (ITV) broken down into the various vfx stages. Thank you to @Joneastuk for the storyboards, it really helped out and they loved the boltcutters scene in Episode 13 (for anyone who has missed this bit of TV joy, click this link CRITICAL – SKY 1 and then click on ‘cutting the leg’.
